The Vikings have most of the pieces of the puzzle, the only problem is that none of their pieces are the best in the league. They have a solid defense, but it isn’t the best. They have a good receiving core, but it isn’t the best. They have a good QB, but he’s far from the best.
Their opponents, The Bengals, are still a few years away from having a great team behind them. Chase doesn’t seem to be developing as fast as they had hoped he would, and I think that slows the Bengals. Their O-Line is a patchwork line, and their defense is like duct tape, it might hold average stresses, but it’ll break when enough force is put on it.
I think the Vikings have the ability to win big while Joey B works out playing after losing his rookie campaign to a knee injury.
The Vikings will likely take this one 31-7.
