This may be the game of the week.
I think this will be an offensive showdown. I would love to think that the Chiefs will just win this on the shear ability of Patrick Mahomes to throw the ball with ease, but you can’t overlook the prowess of the Cleveland defense and the ultimate design of the Browns over the last few years.
The Chiefs continue to improve their Linebacking core, they improved the offensive line, and Mahomes exists. I think that Mayfield will grow since he’s had an offseason to work with the new system Stefanski brought last year. The Browns have kept their offseason under lock and key and they haven’t made any waves, if OBJ buys into the system, this team may have the offense to keep up with the best of them.
All that being said, I think the Chiefs win this one.
