Alabama needs one losing season.
Their fans expect championship while every other team counts their season as a success if they get 8 wins.
In their opener against Miami, you’d expect Alabama to have a slight drop off since they lost a half dozen offensive starters.
Did they? Hell no, they just reloaded and smacked Miami. Miami returned almost all of its starters and they came off an 8 win season, and they couldn’t even scratch Alabama.
As a Mississippi State fan, you just want them to slack off one season and make the yearly match more interesting, but you know deep down that they’ll roll into Starkvegas and blow our doors off.
You could look forward to the retirement of Nick Saban, but they had won a dozen championships and been a consistent championship contenders before Saban, and they’ll be the same dominant team after Saban.
It is brutal to watch a team just shred others like they’re nothing. They stick their starters in there until they lead by 40 and they continue to pack it on with the back ups. Shit is ridiculous.
I just need one season where Alabama wins 3 games.
